June 22-23, 2021, Professor Liu from the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University led a group of 200 freshman students majoring in machinery manufacturing and automation to Fuzhou Taigene Industry Co., Ltd. for a two-day working internship exchange.

       It is reported that in 2020, our company has initially reached a school-enterprise cooperation with the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University. In order to carry out technical strategic school-enterprise cooperation in an all-round way, further deepen the basis of industry-teaching-research cooperation, promote diversified school-enterprise cooperation models, and let the majority of students understand the direction of enterprises and employment. This time, Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University specially organized students majoring in machinery to visit Taigene Industry for a working internship.

       Fuzhou Taigene Industry Co., Ltd. was jointly invested and established by Taiwan, the United States and Japan. It was established in 2004 and is a professional manufacturer dedicated to the production of automobile and motorcycle accessories. At present, it mainly produces automotive power steering assist systems (EPS motors) and automotive air conditioner systems. The main customers are German ZF Group (ZF), Nexteer Automotive Systems (NEXTEER), ThyssenKrupp (TKP), Nippon Seiko Co., Ltd. (NSK), Valeo Group (VALEO) and other automobile hosts Factory and the world’s top 500 auto parts giants.

       The working internship of Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University students mainly visited the production line of the production and processing workshop and assembly workshop of the automobile power steering assist system (EPS motor). Director Wang Huakun, Section Chief Lin Xianhui and Section Chief Wang Haisheng of Taigene Industry introduced the motor production process, shaft processing, and casting processing processes respectively. we led the students to see the spacious workshop, modern equipment, automated operation and high-tech application, from parts to assembly into a complete motor.

       Through the two-day metalworking internship, we hope to bring students different cognitive knowledge in the textbook. Taigene Industry will also actively cooperate with the school to provide students with a high-quality practice platform, strengthen students' practical ability, and improve Professional functions. Strengthen the technical and strategic cooperation with Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University to allow the organic combination of teaching, scientific research, talent training and production technology to exert greater efficiency, realize the organic combination of school-enterprise resources and optimize the allocation, and jointly cultivate talents needed for economic and social development!

       The working internship between Fuzhou Taigene Industry Co., Ltd. and the mechanical students of Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University was successfully completed. It is another successful verification of the school-enterprise cooperation strategy of Fuzhou Taigene Industry Co., Ltd. The two parties will work together to further in-depth discussions on cooperation in running schools, cooperative education, cooperative employment, and cooperative development, so as to promote better and faster development of the college.
